III•[VIR] / NERVA Horseman galloping right, dragging naked warrior by his hair, who is holding a sword in his right hand and a shield in his left. Babelon (Licinia) 23. Crawford 454/2. RBW 1589. Sydenham 955. Rare and beautifully toned. Slightly rough and with an old edge chip, otherwise, good very fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
